Joseph Tovey Frost is a lovely, talented and very sweet man, inside and out. A delightful conversationalist with lots of varied interests, and splendidly human. I adore him.
I drew his portrait tonight in charcoal and graphite, and it was especially fun because as I was working on it, he skyped in from London and got to see his head appear on the paper. I am so grateful for the technology that allows me to meet and share art and ideas with people like Joseph. I'm looking forward to working with him.
In the meantime, I had a really fun time doing this portrait and getting to talk to him throughout the process. It's nice to have such delightful company, even if they're 3000 miles away.
